OUTSTANDING HEADPHONES!
These are the best headphones I have ever bought and that includes Bose Noise Cancelling headphones, which are very overpriced and way too over hyped. I can wear these 24/7, which I have been doing since they arrived last week, and I don't feel claustrophobic like others I have purchased in the past made me feel. I also wear thick horn rimmed glasses and they don't feel like they are pinching me either. These are built for comfort! As for the noise cancelling my neighbor is running a noisy lawn mower right now and I barely hear it and my other neighbor has two dogs barking off the hook and I barely hear them as well. The bass is perfect, not overwhelming where I can't hear the singing and the mid level range is perfect as it's hard to adjust that and the top treble mode is well balanced, not too much of top heavy cymbals, flutes not too high pitched and no hissy "S" sounds in the singing. This all works so well for me and I'm very happy with these. I may buy another while the price is still very reasonable and in case these get lost, stolen or broken.

These are unbeatable for the price
By JMon April 19, 2016 On 12 June 2016
These are great for the price: Solidly-built with good sound in bass, mid-tones & highs. They fold up to fit in an included sturdy travel case. I wish that the ON switch was illuminated. And I wish that the travel case was a bit more slender. Are these better than Bose? No. But with very good sound, good noise-cancelation and a sturdy and easy-to-access travel case... These are unbeatable for the price

Very Pleased

First of all, I am not a paid tester, I'm just a regular schmoe who couldn't justify upwards of $300 for the Bose headphones. Based on the relatively positive feedback on these headphones, I decided to take a chance and give them a try. I do however travel a fair amount, and was hoping to find a reasonable balance between price point and performance. I feel that the Noontec headphones deliver. In the two weeks I've had them in my possession, I've taken two round-trip plane flights and have used them while watching movies on my iPad as well as listening to music. The headphones while a little bit bulky, are very comfortable and felt fine over the course of a flight from CA to Dallas (and back). The noise cancelling feature seems to be somewhat of a mid-boost frequency wise, and it does indeed help drown out jet noise. Better than the Bose? I don't know, but I do feel they were plenty effective in that capacity. The real pleasant surprise was that in non-noise cancellation mode, the 'phones actually sound quite decent. Nice clear sound, and the bass isn't overhyped like you find in Beats headphones (can't stand those things) and the like. Very pleasant listening, and good stereo imaging. As a musician and recording engineer/producer, I'd like to think I have a pretty good handle on what constitutes good sound. For the price point, these phones more than deliver. Additionally they come with a hard shell case for storage, which while a little bulky for the seat pocket in an airliner, they do help to protect when not in use. One thing though: don't forget to switch off the noise cancellation mode when you store them back in the case, or you'll drain the battery (2 AAA cells)!
